Simon – our premium SMS manager

I joined messagemedia in 2005. I was originally a support engineer, moved through to promotions management after 6 months, and after a year in that department, I now head up our Premium SMS service.

Why did you decide to join messagemedia?

I saw plenty of opportunities within the business scope to move around and keep my thirst for new knowledge satisfied. I am given the responsibility for an entire department within messagemedia now, and have finally settled into a role here where I can make a significant impact on the company with the skills that I have learned on my way here.

What interesting projects have you worked on at messagemedia?

Mainly the ongoing project of building our Premium SMS department from the ground up!

What do you like most about working here?

The people, and the freedom that we have with our technology to expand our horizons.

What do you like least about working here?

Every now and then I wonder if 'behind the scenes' work gets the recognition it should.
