The making of MessageMedia

MessageMedia began life as Message4U in response to the emergence of SMS as a communication tool. Our company founders saw widespread possibilities in this fledgling technology, and after 12 months R&D, MessageMedia released the first two way desktop-SMS service. This pioneering software allowed PC users to send and receive SMS messages directly from their desktop, an application that was quickly embraced by the business world.

As MessageMedia developed and refined its proprietary technology, the use of SMS exploded. Our total commitment to innovation and service has seen us lead the industry through this growth stage, and today, we're Australia's largest corporate SMS service provider. We have over 10,000 business/government clients, from BHP and ANZ to your local hairdresser. We've come a long way in a short space of time, but the way we see it - we've only just begun.
